K9 Pipe Inspections was called in to locate a challenging leak located in California on an in-services natural gas pipeline buried ~10 feet under pavement.
The client had been hunting for the micro leak for years with different leak detection services and had accumulated a steep cost. Readings were being picked up 100 feet away from the pipeline.
KPI pipeline leak detection dogs were able to find the location in an area standard equipment had been unable to pick up a reading. The million dollar leak was finally able to be repaired.
